MWR Opens Investment Office in Spokane

Branch manager Tom Guthrie and operations manager Jeanne Quinn will be joined by advisors Dick Peterson, Jeff Peterson, Heather Coté and Scott Bullock, all of whom have over 15 years of industry experience and are long-time residents of Spokane and surrounding areas. They will be supported by sales assistant Kelly Stanicar.

McAdams Wright Ragen’s investment philosophy emphasizes value stocks, including companies based in the Northwest. The new office provides investors with access to services that include research on stocks and bonds for Northwest and national companies, stock and bond trading, investment advisory services, mutual funds, and online access and services.

CEO Scott McAdams said McAdams Wright Ragen’s traditional approach to investing continues to appeal to an important segment of advisors and clients, which has allowed the firm to grow at a healthy pace. “Our straightforward investing model works well in markets like Spokane that have a high concentration of investors who prefer traditional investment services,” he said. “As we’ve looked at cities we need to be in, Spokane stands out. We see a lot of opportunities for growth in the region.”

Since opening its doors in Seattle in 1998, McAdams Wright Ragen has grown to include six other branch offices. Spokane joins the Seattle, Bellevue, Yakima, Mt. Vernon and Anacortes branches in Washington, and the Portland branch in Oregon. “We are excited to be in Spokane,” said McAdams, adding that as an independent, employee-owned firm, McAdams Wrights Ragen strives to be a good citizen and give back to the community.

The new McAdams Wright Ragen office is located temporarily on the 16th floor of the Bank of America Financial Center at 601 W. Riverside Avenue in downtown Spokane. Within four months the office will move into its permanent space on the 19th floor of the same building.
