Corey Mendoza

Corey was raised in Mount Vernon and is a proud member of the local community. He attended Skagit Valley College and graduated from the University of Washington in 1977 with a degree in accounting. After college he accepted a position with Touche Ross & Co, one of the top national accounting firms, and became a Certified Public Accountant. Corey soon realized his professional interests were more aligned with investing and studied to become securities licensed with a career that now spans 29 years.

He has enjoyed a career with a variety of regional and multi-national investment firms, including Foster & Marshall, Shearson Lehman Hutton and Ragen MacKenzie/Wells Fargo Investments. Additionally, Corey and three partners launched their own investment company, which they later sold to Ragen Mackenzie.

Corey specializes in equity & fixed income portfolio management with clients ranging from the extremely conservative to a more aggressive investment approach. Using his accounting background he focuses on tax preferential strategies to maximize investment returns. After hours you may find Corey donating his time to Rotary, as well as serving on the Skagit Valley Hospital Foundation Board. He is a resident of Stanwood with his longtime partner, Jyl. Corey also enjoys boating in Puget Sound, cheering on his Alma Mater - the University of Washington Huskies - and spending time with friends.

Jeff Stewart

Jeff is a Senior Vice President for McAdams Wright Ragen and a Registered Representative with over 15 years of industry experience. Jeff received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Washington and earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2005. Jeff has extensive experience in the areas of income stream investment strategies as they relate to retirement and education planning, as well as equity and fixed income portfolio management.

Prior to joining MWR, Jeff began his career in 1995 as a Registered Representative with Ragen MacKenzie. He is a lifetime resident of Skagit Valley and currently lives in Stanwood with his wife, Stacy, and their three daughters, Sabrina, Samantha and Sarah. He has been involved with Rotary, is an avid golfer and loves following his beloved “Dawgs”.
