Perry Atkins

As business partners of long standing they see a wide variety of client circumstances and help build custom investment plans and portfolios to match their clients’ needs and objectives. Corporate executives (public and private), individuals or couples approaching retirement, and inherited wealth are common examples of clients they have been able to help. An example of more specialized knowledge has been in their work in helping clients establish 10b5-1 plans, stock option planning and rule 144 transactions.
Mark has been a registered representative since 1982 and at MWR and his preceding firm since 1988. Mark has been quite active in the community, serving on the boards of The Bainbridge Community Foundation and past President of the Bainbridge Island Youth Soccer Club. He and his wife reside on Bainbridge Island, having sent their two children off into the working world.
Perry has been a registered representative since 1990. Prior to that, he worked as a securities industry regulator, compliance officer and operations manager. He has been an advisor at MWR and his preceding firm since 1997. An east coast native, Perry has lived in Seattle since 1986 and resides on Magnolia with his wife and teenage daughter. He is the current president of the Seattle Children’s’ Theatre Foundation and a past Board, finance and investment committee member for UCDS, a private school in Seattle.
Mark and Perry enjoy the challenges of their profession and the stimulation of meeting and helping clients. Those relationships have truly informed the quality of their work. They are fortunate to have as members of their team Karen Davis and Dan Malloy. Karen and Dan’s long tenures have allowed them to develop a great sense of service for clients, tailoring the services provided to the services needed. At the same time, they are personable and friendly and work hard to ensure that clients’ needs are addressed promptly and completely. It is really a group effort.
